10 steps you can take right now to be a successful mum-preneur

10 steps you can take right now to be a successful mum-preneur
  1. Need to do work on the computer for a few hours in relative peace?  Do it in a pizza place with WiFi and good coffee then take home a pizza for dinner.  The kids will love you.
  2. Fold and hang laundry before bed and listen to motivational audio books whilst doing it.  The task will become pleasurable.
  3. Schedule time for exercise into your week and stick to it.  The mental and physical benefits will be immeasurable.
  4. Decide what you want.  Have a vision of what you’re going for and plan a map to get there.
  5. Allocate 30 minutes every week to do one of the little jobs in the house that has been bugging you.
  6. Delegate delegate delegate.  Get someone else to do something for you if you can to free up valuable time.
  7. Surround yourself with a team of people who are reliable and capable.
  8. Don’t be a control freak – it doesn’t matter if things aren’t done the way you like them to be .  As long as they are done, that’s the important thing.  Don’t sweat the small stuff.
  9.  Put away 10% of your earnings each month and allocate another % to paying off your debts.  Doing so will give you confidence and self esteem, as well as a rainy day fund.
  10. Even if your day is falling apart, try to smile and not moan.  People don’t really want to hear your problems and you will more positively affect your day if you make a conscious effort to change your attitude.
